Fort Fermata, Part 2
Further playing around with the moving room, and I think I’ve finally figured out how it works. There’s only one, along a central canal, and there are a number of control rooms that send it to specific points along that canal. The level on both sides of the fort is cleverly constructed so that both the ground floor and raised platforms are connected in different ways by the room. It does seem like this is a puzzle that is much easier to understand while it was being designed (with a bird’s eye view) than it is to figure out as a player, especially as the routes through the area are so convoluted.
